WHAT HAPPENS NOW ?

  • Very soon (early March unless AFL season has started), S.L.F. shall put you in a league with 9 other competitors, friends or rivals.
  • I shall E-mail your league number and all important user-name and password to allow access to your club pages etc. So ensure the E-mail address you've entered on your registration form is correct. There may be a short waiting period here, so dont panic, but if you have interested friends, now is the time to get them involved, they could play in your league if they register promptly.
  • You may alter your bids or club data between now and processing, return to the registration form again, select from the first drop-down menu selection on the first page of the registration form, and re-register.
  • All bids will be processed as soon as 10 fully paid managers are found, or the first deadline has passed.
  • League pages will then be created. You can go to your League Page via the SLF Menu. It is advisable to bookmark(add to favorites) your League Page, as all information relevant to your league is acessible from there. This includes all your club, manager and league info. Obviously match results, league tables, and team line-ups will not be available during the bidding rounds, and guernsey designs are requested now.
  • Results of your 1st round bids will be available from your new League Page, under "Club Report", click on your team name, then enter user-name and password (once per session) to see which players you signed or why you didnt. Here you need also complete a new "Return Sheet" for your 2nd round of 15 bids. Also visit an updated "Player List" for your league, stating which players are still available and who belongs to what club.
  • Your second round of bids MUST be entered via your club's "Return Sheet". DO NOT enter your next 15 bids as before by registering from the "SLF Home Page".
  • The deadline for the 2nd round bids will be about 4 to 7 days after 1st round processing.
  • When these 2nd round bids are processed, the league pages are updated again, and you shall be able to download the "Club Management" rulebook from the web-site.
  • Then the 3rd round of bids are selected and processed. After which you should have sufficient players to select a team of 18 for the first round of SLF matches played on the following weekend.
  • During your season, pages are typically put onto internet by Monday after the weekend games.
